Directions To Biliran

Chamorita is located in Biliran Province, Philippines conveniently located halfway between Biliran Town and Naval, the capital of Billiran, right off the National Highway on the shores of Biliran Straits. Chamorita can easily be reached via a well paved highway from Tacloban, the capital of Leyte, or Ormoc, a seaport city in Leyte.  If arriving by van just tell driver to drop you off at Chamorita, all vans to Naval from Tacloban or Ormoc pass by the entrance to Chamorita on the National Highway. Chamorita is a short 150 meters from the highway.

There are ways to get to Biliran if you don’t have your own transportation:

1. Fly into Tacloban from Manila. Once in Tacloban you can either ride a private van, which are available at the airport, (this is the most expensive, rates are negotiable with the driver), or you may opt to go to the Tacloban Terminal, Van Van's or DupTours Terminal and get an air conditioned van to Naval. (least expensive)  Van trips from Tacloban take two hours.  For all resort guests, with advance notice Chamorita offers private vehicle transportation, with driver, from or to Tacloban airport. 2. Fly into Cebu and take a ferry or the Supercat Ferry to Ormoc. The ferry takes approximately 6 hours and trips are usually scheduled to leave late at night and arrive early in the morning in Ormoc. The Supercat takes about 2 hours and has 3 trips daily from Cebu to Ormoc. Once in Ormoc take a van to Naval. Note:  Van trips from Ormoc take about two hours. (Chamorita also offers private Van from Ormoc).

3. Fly to Cebu and take the Roble Shuttle from Cebu to Naval. Trip takes about 6 hours and is twice a week and leaves Cebu late in the evening.
